Question: Why won't my toshiba netbook let me havee a background?

I bought this netbook to replace my old one. Ive never had a toshiba before its weird. I tried to change the background, and it won't let me. I was wondering why Im not able to change it.

Because you most likely have the Windows Vista or 7 starter OS on it and you cant change the background.

Hey Jessie Q; It's the Operating System. Windows 7 starter is VERY limeted. It does not come with the ability to change the background. Sorry

As others have pointed out it is likely a limitation of Windows 7 Starter Edition.
