Question: Should i get a netbook, notebook, or laptop?
(Posted by: maggiebridget09 on 2010-02-07 20:28:59)
I really don't know what to get. I don't want to spend a lot of money. I just got a desk top last month. Other family members need to use the computer, too. I'm getting a degree online. I need my own computer. Mostly, I need it to do research, write papers, and access the school website. Netbooks cost the least. I want to know if getting a Netbook would be my best choice as far as cost. Thanks. |

As your requirement is not higher then I will suggest you to go for a refurbished Dell or HP laptops. As you have stated you do not wanna invest heavily then this will be a really good option as these laptops comes with good specifications and condition which make these laptops really better and functional wise too. These laptops can easily be upgraded too, so I will honestly recommend you to go for a Refurbished laptop. Check out the website link mentioned below |

Netbooks are underpowered and usually only good for doing one thing at a time. They are also a pain to type out papers on, as the keyboard is not of full size. If you need extra space to do research, then a standard laptop would be a better choice. Also, the terms "notebook " and "laptop " refer to the same thing. |

Yes, but it also severely limits what you can do with it! FYI a notebook and laptop are the same thing! |

It's like everything else a notebook would suit you now for what you want. but what about in 6 months and you find that little bit of extra disk space or what ever, I would step into the middle of the road and go for a notebook it give you mor options for later on,,, best manufactures are as follows Asus, Acer, Sony and Toshiba Worst are Hp, Dell, and in forth place is the Mac |
