A question about netbook computers?
I bought a gateway netbook with a atom N270 1.6 processor and a Acer one netbook with the 11.6 inch screen and the n520 1.33 ghz processor. On of them is a Christmas gift for my 6 year old child. The other one is going back to the store. I need help on which one to keep. The gateway has a 10.1 inch screen, 1 gig of ram and 160 hd and is loaded with xp. The Acer has 2 gig or ram, a bigger 11.6 inch screen and a 260 hd with the slower 1.33 processor and is loaded with Vista. I want to keep the biger one but I am afraid it will not do what she wants it to do. She plays flash games at sites such as nickjr.com and Disney.com and love to watch silly videos at you tube. will the atom 570 handle this? is there a lot of difference between the two processor? i know they will not perform very well running video in fullscreen but will they do ok for what I described? I really need to know what you guys that have them think. thanks for the help.

Okay so I have a netbook and I use Youtube Converter to get my songs, and I play and listen to them using my Windows Media Player......but than just yesterday I got the Ipad, and it says in order to use it..I must download Itunes into my computer, so I want to ask would it be ok to use and have both Windows Media Player and Itunes on my computer, at the same time?
I have a virus on my netbook computer, all i want to do is put music on my mp3 player?
The virus just affects my internet, it puts porn files on my desktop and won't let me do anything on the internet. I have no money to get this fixed, and I can't download anything because I can't use the internet. All I want to do is add music to my mp3 player, I have a flash drive with songs on it, I want to plug it in while my mp3 player is plugged in and transfer the songs to my music player. What mode will let me do that from the list that pops up when u press F8 when the computer starts up? Or do u think if I run it normally, will my mp3 player be safe.I wrote this from my phone btw, I have no other computer I can use
My daughter's netbook computer won't charge?
She has an ASUS Eee PC 1000HD XP. It started when it said " battery mode" when it was plugged in to A C power. So then the battery drained and we couldn't even turn it on. Got a new cord & battery hooked those up and it SEEMED good, said it was on A C power & that batt. was charging. But as we watched the % numbers on the battery went DOWN even though it still said " charging" so then IT was drained and we are back to not even being able to turn it on again Wondering if its even worth taking to a repair place or is it probably fried?OLD computer? It's barely a year old She ONLY uses it for internet, it has no optical drives...
What components do I need for my netbook computer? The Wifi signal is not picking up at all!?
I have a new 7" netbook. It comes Wifi ready. But when I attempt to get on the Internet, it says Server Error DNS not found available. But when I plug my cable cord in from my Road Runner into the notebook, the Internet comes on. My wifi connection is not coming on. It has a very low signal. I was told from the guy on the chat of this company, that I should get an WiFi booster. I have another laptop at home, and we use Roadrunner to connect to the Internet. What would I need to connect to the Internet for my netbook notebook computer? I really need some logical answers. If I can't get connected, I will return this computer back to this company Please help me

Okay so i have a budget of about $150. All I want is a very basic Net book computer. I've been looking on Ebay for some. What is DDR2 in a netbook computer, and what the difference between it and hard drive?
a computer im looking at says it has 1GB DDR2 and 250 GB hard drive. what's the difference what does that mean???i did google, its just that all the results are really specific and techie and i couldnt understand it.

Netbooks come with a 160 gb or more harddrive, and a ipod has 8 gb up to 64 gb.Could I down load itunes to a netbook and then down load a movie to watch also?
