Can you do any work with a mini netbook offline?
The HP website says " internet connection required" but mini netbooks seem to have enough resources to hold quite a few applications that can be used offline. Could you use one to edit an html page, edit photos, and then upload the files to a server using FTP or the hosting company's control panel?
HP mini netbook 2140 Fan ALWAYS on, when the computer is not even hot?
I have the HP mini 2140, and the fan is always on, and its pretty loud. Underneath the computer, it is not hot at all, it is actually fairly cool to touch. And the air that is blowing out, is not hot either, its also cool. So what is going on? It doesn't seem like my computer is overheating, would a laptop cooler help, if its not hot in the first place? Thanks in advance.

HP Mini netbook does not charge?
I just bought an hp mini netbook very recently and discovered that the battery 3 cell lithium does not charge at all at my university, whereas it charges normally at home. The power supply at my university is the same as that home and isnt it same throughout North America? Im very confused any suggestions?? thanks I tried it at various spots, and it works for everyone else i dont know what receptacle means..?I used the SAME charger that I got along with the laptop at the university...How can the power supply numbers etc be checked?

I recently got a compaq mini for christmas, what is something i can do to get more space on the hard drives? Would purchasing a USB flashdrive help? or a removable hard drive? but i really don't get how purchasing these things would make working on my laptop sufficient...So any help or advice would be appreciated
