Hey does anybody know how to set screen resolution on a new hp mini netbook?
could you help me out i just got my mini netbook and i was wondering how to set the screen to 800x600 and larger thank you.
Space on hp mini netbook?
My family received an hp mini netbook laptop for using Verizon FiOS for a certain amount of time. I use it as my computer, because everyone else in my family already has one. How much room is on this computer? Do you think I can store my iTunes on this computer of a few hundred songs? Or will that totally fill up my memory and make it slow? Please helppp, I have an 8gig iPod but don't use all the space at all..I only have like 300 songs..is that okay to store on here?
Should I get the Dell insperon mini 10 or teh hp mini netbook 110?
I'm looking for something durable and small that I can just throw in my backpack. I would like it to be fairly inexpensive not cheap but low cost is a better term but with good value for the money. Any suggestions?

Fix for HP mini netbook screen flickers?
My HP mini netbook 1000 screen randomly flickers and then goes black. When I adjust the screen or pick it up and apply pressure to the bottom left side under keyboard the screen stays lit and flicker free until I move it again. I am no longer under warranty and HP wants about what I paid for it for me to send it in and fix it, so can someone give me some suggestions on fixing this myself or point me to some good links? Any help would be appreciated, I just don't want this purchase to be a total waste of money. shaun No, no wacky graphics just the flickering and blacking out. Is this cable relatively easy to get to? Shaun Hey thanks for the link and advice. I fixed the problem for anyone who may be experiencing the same problem.I took the whole thing apart and disconnected the display cable and and carefully but very firmly pushed it back into the slot. Be mindful of all of the other fragile wires not to snag them.I ended up taking this thing apart 5 times before I got it right and re connected the display cable properly.Please see the link provided in Shaun's answer for the location of the data cable. HP tech support wanted to charge me $398 to send it to them to fix, that's about what I paid for it, so it was either fix it myself, or sell it on Ebay for parts.One last thing I forgot to mention, before I re connected the display cable I cleaned it gently with a micro fiber cloth and a dab of alcohol.
HP mini netbook 2140 Fan ALWAYS on, when the computer is not even hot?
I have the HP mini 2140, and the fan is always on, and its pretty loud. Underneath the computer, it is not hot at all, it is actually fairly cool to touch. And the air that is blowing out, is not hot either, its also cool. So what is going on? It doesn't seem like my computer is overheating, would a laptop cooler help, if its not hot in the first place? Can vside work well on a HP Mini Netbook?
Okay guys so I used to have Vside on my old computer and than it got a virus from another website so Vside stopped working properly. Now I have a mini netbook and it works pretty good. I just miss going on Vside so I want to know if anyone knows if it would work on a HP mini because I wouldnt want to download it if it is not going to work properly.And can you tell me if it will take up alot of space or freeze my mini.

i have a hp mini netbook, i recently got a virus, and now everytime i type in password at log in it loads, but its just my background now start menu or icons, how can i restore or get rid of virus, theres no cd drive, so how do i restore it. thank you
