Question: Does a local bestbuy store have every computer components to build at least a gaming computer?

I m thinking buying a computer that prebuilt at least strong enough to run CoD MW2 on low setting. if that doesn't work out, i want to buy parts by parts at bestbuy on the same day. Will i able to do that? Will they have everything graphic that i need? I know bestbuy is overpriced but i have no choice, i don't have a credit card, plus the shipping is too expensive.

They may have them - at Best Buy online anyway, but that's not really the way to go if you're going to build your own. I would recommend you look at newegg.com for starters and compare some prices between Best Buy and Newegg. I think you'll find Newegg a lot cheaper. I don't work for them, but I've been a customer since 2001. I haven't had a bad experience with them, yet. Everything I've ever order arrives within 3 business days. Others to look at are: mwave.com/ mwave/ index.asp , tigerdirect.com/ and zipzoomfly.com/ jsp/ Home.jsp If you find a site and want to know how others rate them, try resellerratings.com/ and type in the name of a site. Newegg has over 30000 reviews and a 9.65/ 10 rating lifetime. Best Buy (bestbuy.com, not the individual stores) has 714 ratings and a 1.92/ 10 rating lifetime and 0.5/ 10 in the last six months.

Don't buy parts from Best Buy. They're overpriced. Go to Newegg.com and Tigerdirect.com.

BestBuy isn't a good choice for a computer built up by its component parts. A much better choice would be NewEgg (online), or MicroCenter if there is a store in your area.

If you have one near by, check out Frys or MicroCenter.. Other wise you can order from Newegg, or Frys.com
