What's the best netbook? Please help no one anwsers!?
So,Hey I was wondering what you think is the best netbook? I wanted to get one and use mine for music programs, Internet, writing,msn and I wanted to get the dell insparion mini it has 1gb and 160gb memory would that work What would you suggest ?

My Dell Inspiron laptop died over the holiday, so I'm looking to replace it. I'm thinking of going with a netbook because of the portability and since the only time I used the laptop was when I was on vacation or travelling on business. I really would like to focus on the Japanese brands, but I'm open to suggestions. And I'd like to get something with Windows Vista or 7, not XP. I haven't ruled out getting another laptop instead of a netbook, because we are really only talking about a 3 lb difference, right? And I'm not sure that I will like the smaller screen of the netbook. From my research, here are my favorites so far Sony Vaio Can't go wrong with a SONY, I own a lot of their other products. However, I understand that it only has 1GB of memory, and is not upgradeable. This isn't so much of an issue now, but what about 2 3 years from now, might pose a problem.Toshiba netboot Similar to the Sony Vaio, $100 cheaper at Best Buy, comes in a choice of colors that the Vaio doesn't offer, and is expandable to a 2GB memory. But what about durability? Is Toshiba going to last like the Sony product will?Toshiba Satellite laptop only $330 at Best Buy, so nearly $200 cheaper than the Sony Vaio, can expand up to 8GB of memory but I understand that the speaker sound is very poor, and it doesn't have the built in webcams like the above two netbooks. Plus of course it's double the weight of the netbooks and only comes in silver or black. But with 8GB of memory, this is one I could probably use for years, assuming Toshiba has the durability. Your ideas here please...I understand that many Japanese brands are assembled in China, including Sony. However, my experience has been that Sony has higher standards of quality than do most American brands. I have owned both American and Japanese tech products ranging from MP3 players to digital cameras to DVD players to surround sound systems. In my experience the Japanese products, especially Sony are just better.
Can anyone sugest the best netbook for the price?
ive been looking at them and ive noticed acer makes some cheap ones but are they so cheap that they are not worth having?what im looking for first is lowest price possible but a good good little pc for that pricesecond id like a built in webcam its not needed but id kinda like to have one.and third i would like it to come with the standard microsfot office word and power point etci wouldnt buy it from walmart but i kind of like the looks of this onewalmart.com ip HP 10.1 160 GB HP 210 1010NR 13377108 ProductDetailoh but ive heard that with netbooks you cant change the background on it and stuff? is that true? like the desktop background?

Best netbook out there?
I want a netbook that is under $300 with a decent amount of storage space. I would like to use the netbook only for homework, so I'd need to use Internet and a Microsoft Word like program whether that be Open Office or whatever. I'd probably need to store about 300 documents maybe less on the netbook. Do netbooks cost money monthly? I heard somewhere that it's like a cell phone plan. Is this true?What is the best netbook out there for my needs that is cheap, durable, has decent storage. The biggest thing is that it has to be cheap. I'm on a really tight budget. Also, I don't really understand netbooks much. Can you explain it a little bit? Thanks in advance
Best Netbook for College Student?
I am a college student. I need a computer for internet and some word processing. I would like something that will fit easily in my bag and on a desk, so I have been looking into netbooks. The Asus 1005PE is leading right now, although I'm not really a fan of the touchpad.Does anyone have any first hand experience? What do you have, why did you choose that one? I'm just trying to get some more opinions on this.I will probably purchase something around April 2010, and hopefully by then the Duo Cores and 1366x768 Resolutions will be more standard. I have done quite a bit of research and hands on shopping around. Windows 7 can easily be installed, and run very well, on almost any netbook once you switch out the RAM for a 2GB. There have been some rumors about Duo Cores in April for Asus, and there are a few $400 range netbooks that currently have a 1366x768 screen. Not to be a jerk, but I wan't just making things up from wishful thinking. Please only respond to this post if you have real information regarding the subject.
Best netbook for $300 or less?
so im sick of my dad and brother making the laptop my mom buy crash my dad looks at his nasty stuff and my brother plays his games so i want to buy a netbook that only i can use so that its not gonna crash anytime soon.im looking for one under 300 dollars and would like it to have microsoft office word and stuff, and then a bonus would be if it had a webcam but thats not needed, and what is this windows home 7 like? its new to me so idk but what is your experience?recomend away im open.
What's the best NetBook for me?
I am writing a novel and want a NetBook that will be entirely dedicated to my book. I would at most put 100 word .doc documents on it, and at most download 10 true type fonts. I'd load no other documents, music, pictures and download no games or files.I'd want it to have access to the internet through a safe relatively fast browser.I want it to have a version of Microsoft word that recognizes .doc files and is a good version of Word, not gimped.My price range is up to $350.So netbook for holding .doc files, good version of Microsoft Word, internet, up to $350.What's the best NetBook for me based on those requirements, in your opinion?
