Does anybody have an asus netbook with linux operating system?
i brought my daughter an asus net book at toys r us that has linux for the operating system the thing is im having trouble finding wireless internet service for it.Can anybody suggest service that would work?
I have a asus netbook 1005 hab eee, when i try to get on the internet, it connects but the signal is always lo?

I really want a white one, but the pink is my second choice. I'm just wondering why the black ones cost less than the others. I found one thats around 269 but it only comes in black on amazon and it has everything I want. I just don't understand why the black is so much cheaper than the other colors. It makes me mad because I don't want to get a black one but I might just have to. It might sound stupid to you, but I'd rather be stuck with seeing the color white on my netbook than black.Also is there a place to get those netbooks cheaper, not ebay though. Amazon is the cheapest I've found so far.
Should my asus netbook be faster?
i bought the asus 1005ha netbook from newegg. newegg.com Product Product.aspx?Item N82E16834220551& cm re asus 1005ha 34 220 551 Producti then installed windows 7 pro on it, and it worked pretty good. although i would get lag during streaming some youtube videos and most hulu videos, especially on full screen. so i bought a kingston 2 gb ram stick. a pc6400 just like the one that came in it, i knew it wouldnt be faster, but everyone said it makes a huge difference to add the extra gig of ram. bestbuy.com site Kingston Technology Platinum Series 2GB PC2 6400 DDR2 Laptop Memory 8986332.p?id 1218005634725& skuId 8986332anyways video streaming is still painful and i cant play torchlight at all, there is a netbook mode but it is still to painful to bare. is there a reason my netbook is so slow? is anyone else suffering these issues too, i know this netbook lacked much in resources but others are bragging about its speed and i want to make sure its not just a faulty machine. best answer gets voted by me
I can't get my external disc drive to work with my asus netbook.?
Okay, back in May i bought an external Disc drive for my Asus netbook. It worked fine the first day and when i went to do the eject option for USB decives, all it did was open the drive so i just pulled out the cables and was done with it. The next morning i went to turn on my netbook with the drive plugged in and all it did was turn the screen black and gave me no response. What did I do?

im using windows xp and it has just been recently reformatted and scanned for viruses. one of the theories i came across is it might me dirty inside and is heating up the inside, but again it shutdowns PROPERLY with the shutdown screen and all.
Get rid of those pesky fingerprints on your Asus netbook?
I love my new netbook. But hated those pesky fingerprints. Looking everywhere online I read a couple of suggestions to use guitar wax or motorcycle polish. So tonight I ran out to Walmart to see if I could get a least one. NO Chance So I decided to bite the bullet and try some car wax. I chose one in a can, not one you spray on. I am not sure if you can put product names on reviews but it is in a red an silver can and claims to be " America's 1 selling cleaner wax" . All I can say is WOW, what an AMAZING difference My fingerprint problem has been 99 % fixed. Please note, I did not use it on my screen But I did appply a light coat to the black around it. I own a shell blue netbook and none of the color came off onto my cloth when I buffed the wax off. Please let me know if anyone tries this and what results you have.Actually it's Meguiars cleaner wax.
I want to get my Asus netbook back to original factory condition?
It came with xp already installed but I installed Ubuntu as the only operating system. How do I get rid of Ubuntu and how do I get XP installed. I have the XP key and I have a portable DVD driveAs it came pre installed I don't have the Win Xp installation disc.
My Asus Netbook is being killed with Trojans?
Please help. My netbook says its infected. The background walpaper even changed to say it is I ran a scan with the Viper Anti virus scanner. It found 20 Trojans level 4. I deleted them all. AND MY COMPUTER IS STILL INFECTED.My web searches are even redirected. I tried using Task manager. and it says " Task manager has been disabled by your admin" I tried opening an MP3, and it said I didn't have any codec installed on my PC. THEN it opened a webpage trying to sell me a codec program for $49.99WTF is wrong with my PC I'm continuing to scan. Now I find 1 3 Trojans per scan. I feel like im in a nazi zombie situation. 1 man, against waves of freaking Trojans. My PC has been like this for 2 days. I really want my netbook back. Please. I'll do anything. just help me send these Trojans to Hell, along with their owner creator

Brand new netbook. Here's the kicker. If the wi fi spot is not password protected it will connect. If it is password protected I can sit there all day and punch in the password. It won't happen.Tried it at friends' houses too. Nada
