Question: Are the acer netbooks any good?

3 or 4 years ago Acer made computers that were almost bombproof... my old Travelmate 505 only died because it got dropped, and my dad's laptop is still going well. The 2 year old one I have has been back for a new motherboard and is currently boxed so DHL can take it to them to fix... again... I also know other people who've had problems with new Acers. Personally, given their record on traditional sized laptops, I would prefer an MSI Wind or an Asus.
