Any external hard drives/storage devices compatible with Windows ME?
My old HP desktop runs ME. I have stuff I need to back up before trashing recycling the CPU. My new Dell laptop has Vista. I'd like to get a storage device of some sort but want it to be compatible with both. Speed is not a priority I don't foresee having to access it much , but ease of use is preferably something that connects via a USB port. Don't need a ton of memory, as the old computer's files are just under 15 GB I figure the standard 250 GB or so will be plenty for future use. Any recommendations on an external drive that would fit these specifications? Windows ME is the toughest part does anyone know of a device compatible or one that at least has a downloadable driver ?
